ESC to host its second breakfast briefing on labour exploitation
ESC International is set to host its second breakfast briefing event, addressing the topic of Labour Exploitation in Wales. This FREE event will be held in Cardiff on the 12th April 2018 from 8.30 to 10.30am and is the next installment in this popular ethical trade series.
Jenni Edwards, an industry expert on modern slavery and ethical labour standards, will lead the discussion on labour exploitation practices and how they are impacting Welsh business today. This event offers insight into the different models of labour exploitation businesses need be aware of, and will address new concerns regarding the effect of Brexit on this critical issue.
Our Guest speaker Stephen Chapman, Wales’ Anti-Slavery Co-ordinator, brings his experience at the forefront of combatting Modern Slavery in all its forms across Wales.
ESC International’s ‘Ethical Labour Standards Management Toolkit for Welsh SMEs’, will be given to attendees. The tool works by providing a framework specifically for managing ethical labour standards and modern slavery risk. An invaluable tool for any business that wishes to reduce risk within their own organisation and their supply chain.
